Do you always want to make the right decisions?
At the very heart of God’s character is love. It is His defining attribute and the way He relates to His creation. God’s love for us is so great that He sent His Son, Jesus, to bring us into relationship with Him. Love is what sets us apart as His children, and it is the foundation for everything we do as we follow Him.
Growing in God’s Love
God’s desire is for our love to continually grow and overflow. As it does, we become more like Him. Our knowledge deepens because we begin to understand more about who God is and how great His love is for us. At the same time, our hearts are opened to love others more fully, reflecting the compassion of Christ.
Love Leads to Wisdom
When we grow in love, we also gain discernment. We begin to understand what God desires for us and what the people around us need most. Love becomes the guide that shapes our decisions and directs our steps.
Choosing the Way of Love
There will be times when the path forward feels unclear or when we face difficult choices. In those moments, choose the way of love. Follow the path that shows love to God and love to others. When we err on the side of love, we can be confident that we are walking in God’s will and making the right decisions.
