Saved!

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. – John 3:17

When we hear news of an accident or disaster near someone we care about, our first thought is often the same: Are they safe? That instinct to check on someone’s well-being reflects the deep love we have for them.

God has that same desire for us, but in ways we cannot fully imagine. His heart is to keep us safe—not only from physical harm, but from the spiritual dangers that threaten our souls.

The Reality of Our Situation

The truth is that God loves us completely and desires for us to live in the joy of His presence. Yet we often turn away, choosing our own desires over His love. Our wrong choices blind us and separate us from Him, leaving us in a kind of spiritual disaster.

Without God’s intervention, our path would lead to destruction. We would be lost, far from the One who created us and loves us more than we can comprehend.

God’s Rescue Plan

Even though we were headed toward ruin, God did not abandon us. Instead of saying, “I’ve had enough,” He acted in the most loving and sacrificial way possible—sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to save us.

Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, our sins are forgiven, and our relationship with our Heavenly Father is restored. This is what it truly means to be “saved.”

Safe in the Arms of God

We were in a dangerous place, telling the Creator we didn’t need Him and didn’t care about His love. Yet God made a way for us to come back to Him. In Christ, we are safe, secure, and deeply cared for forever.

God does not judge us in anger, abandon us, or condemn us. He does not allow us to keep walking into disaster. Instead, He reaches out in love, pulls us close, and saves us.
