For he will order his angels to protect you in all you do. – Psalm 91:11
Have you ever wondered how we can believe in things we cannot see? The answer is faith. We follow Jesus each day by trusting in the unseen, knowing that the Holy Spirit guides us, our Father hears us, and we are saved by the work of Christ. Faith bridges the gap between the physical world we see and the spiritual world we cannot see.
Living in Faith and the Unseen World
As followers of Jesus, we are called to live in both realities. The visible, physical world surrounds us, but just as real is the spiritual world where God reigns. Though we cannot see it with our eyes, we experience it through faith. This is where we will one day live with Him forever, in His eternal presence.
The Mystery of Angels in God’s Plan
Part of this unseen realm includes God’s angels. They are His messengers, serving Him both in heaven and on earth. Throughout Scripture, we see them at work—delivering messages, ministering to His people, and carrying out His commands. God even promises that His angels will protect His children. While we may not fully understand how, it shows the depth of His love and care for us.
Angels at Work in Our Lives
From the stories of Abraham and Jacob, to Mary and Joseph, to the shepherds who first heard the good news of Christ’s birth, angels have been present throughout God’s plan of redemption. They ministered to Jesus during His time on earth, and they continue to minister to us today. We are reminded through these accounts that we are not alone—God has commanded His angels to watch over us.
Guarded by God’s Love
Whether in the spiritual realm or in our daily physical lives, we are under God’s protection. Angels are part of His care, reminding us that His love surrounds us in ways beyond our imagination. We are truly guarded by angels, and ultimately, by the everlasting power of our Lord.
