Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. – Psalm 91:1
Let the Lord protect you! God offers a place where we can be truly safe. In the Psalms, it is described as His tent, His hiding place, and His dwelling. It is His shelter for us in times of trouble, whether we face enemies, adversity, or temptation. Through faith, we live under His divine protection. And this is more than simply being kept safe—we have God Himself as our protector and companion.
Living under God’s protection
Our security comes from knowing we are children of the Creator of all things. Every day, we live in His presence. His shadow stretches over all of creation, covering everything and everywhere. That means we can be confident that He is always with us, watching over us, and caring for us in every moment.
Confidence in God’s constant care
Not only does He keep us safe, but He also gives us the assurance that His love and attention never waver. We can face life without fear because our Father is near, guiding and guarding us. His presence brings peace to our hearts.
Resting in His shadow
To rest in His shadow is to live in the confidence that He is our refuge. No matter what challenges come our way, we can dwell in His protection and walk each day with the peace that comes from knowing He is with us.
