Blessed

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. – Psalm 1:1-2 Bad people? Don’t walk with bad people, don’t stand with bad people, don’t sit around with bad people. Don’t follow what they do, don’t look for where they are going, don’t seek out their company. If we want to avoid evil, then… avoid evil. Even more, find enjoyment in doing what is good. We are loved by God and therefore we should be excited about pleasing Him. If we constantly consider how much He loves us it will lead us to joyfully serve Him. We will walk, stand and sit in our Father’s presence, rather than hanging out where evil can influence us. Humbly follow His ways, and no other. Be delighted by the Lord! He loves us, and we are blessed.
