So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. – Galatians 3:26-27
How do we become part of God’s family? The beautiful truth is that God chooses to adopt us. When we place our faith in Jesus Christ, we are brought into His household—not as strangers or servants, but as beloved sons and daughters.
Chosen and Adopted by God
From the very beginning, God designed each of us with care and purpose. He formed us in His image and breathed His life into us. While all people are connected to God as their Creator, He desires something even more personal. Through faith in Jesus, He welcomes us into a relationship that is both affectionate and eternal. Adoption means we belong to Him completely, with every privilege and blessing of being His child.
Clothed in Christ
When we trust in Christ, something amazing happens—we are clothed in His righteousness. This new identity covers our past and gives us a fresh start. We are no longer defined by our failures or shortcomings, but by the grace and love of our Savior. In this transformation, we begin to reflect His character and grow in His likeness day by day.
Living in the Father’s Love
As children of God, we are never forgotten or alone. Our Father watches over us, provides for our needs, and guides us through every season of life. His care is constant and His love beyond measure. Being part of God’s family means we can rest securely, knowing we are deeply loved and forever His.
