Don’t get weary in doing good, because at the right time we will reap a harvest if we don’t give up. – Galatians 6:9

All of us experience exhaustion at times. Our physical limits remind us that we can only go so many hours without sleep or rest. But beyond physical fatigue, we often grow weary in our spirit. Discouragement can set in when we don’t see immediate results from our efforts. Negative criticism and harsh judgment from others can take a toll on our hearts. The constant presence of hurt and injustice around us can be overwhelming.

The Pursuit That Drains Us

It’s easy to get caught up in chasing after things we believe will bring happiness or success. But God calls us to a different pursuit. Instead of focusing on self-centered goals, we are encouraged to devote our energy to doing good. This is the kind of work that should occupy our time and effort. This is what matters.

God’s Strength in Our Weakness

Even in our most tired and defeated moments, we are reminded not to grow weary in doing good. Why? Because God’s strength and Spirit dwell within us. He empowers us to keep going, even when our own strength fails.

Encouraged by God’s Voice and Love

We continue on, undaunted by criticism or disappointment, because we know that God is working out His plan in perfect timing. His love is louder than the doubts and discouragements we face. His forgiveness heals even the deepest pain caused by a broken world.

Endurance, Rest, and Eternal Hope

We don’t give up because our eyes are set on the eternal life promised to us as God’s children. Though the journey may be slow and sometimes difficult, God provides what we need—both endurance to keep moving and moments of rest to renew us.

Don’t Give Up—Keep Doing Good

  • Don’t give up. God’s peace is available to you every day.
  • Don’t give up. The power of the Holy Spirit is always with you.
  • Don’t give up. Jesus promises to give you rest.
  • Don’t get weary. Don’t give up.

Our future is secured in Christ. Keep doing good—your strength comes from God, and your reward is eternal.
