Who is it you really trust?
God is our shelter and protects us. We are protected in an impenetrable fortress. The maker of all things is the one who watches over and keeps us safe. It is not His duty or obligation, it is because He is our loving Father.
Because He loves us we can be sure He will take care of us. His love is relentless and unstoppable, and we can completely trust in Him. All of these are beautiful things which we can “say of the Lord” — we can comfort our own hearts but also tell others about God’s amazing love and protection. We can let everyone know about the God we trust!
God is our sanctuary, the sacred place where we are always secure.
