Take a moment to think about Jesus. He carried the weight of the world’s sins on Himself—something beyond our full understanding. God, who is perfectly pure and righteous, chose to bear the guilt and punishment for the wrongdoings of the very people He created.
The Depth of His Sacrifice
Even as He suffered on the cross, Jesus endured the added pain of being abandoned by His closest friends and followers. At His most agonizing moment, those who once walked beside Him disappeared in fear. Still, He chose to stay, suffer, and die—for us.
Why We Can’t Look Away
It was our sin that He took upon Himself. His sacrifice wasn’t abstract—it was deeply personal. Even when we turned away from Him, His compassion and forgiveness pursued us. This love draws our gaze to Him and holds it there.
The Risen Savior in Glory
Now Jesus is seated in glory, restored to His rightful place of power. The same Savior who died for us is also the Creator and Ruler of the universe. His majesty, love, and authority fill us with awe and wonder.
Seeing Him Through Faith
Today, we look to Jesus through faith. We trust in His love, His forgiveness, and every promise He made—including the promise of eternal life. One day, we will see Him face to face in heaven and behold Him in all His glory.
Our Eyes Fixed on Love
Our sins are forgiven. Our future is secure. God continues to show us compassion and provision daily. With all this, it’s no wonder we can’t take our eyes off Jesus. He is our greatest hope and our dearest love.
