I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to Him in His death – Philippians 3:10
How passionately do you want to know Jesus?
Let me re-phrase that: How passionately do you want to know the person who loves you so much they gave up everything in order to save you and give you eternal life?
Jesus Invites Us to Love, Not to Earn
Jesus never forces us to love Him. He does not require us to give up things to gain His favor or perform religious duties to receive His grace. He does not demand suffering in order for us to draw near. What He truly wants is for us to receive His love and respond with a genuine love of our own.
Our Love Should Flow from the Heart
Whether we give, learn, or endure hardship in His name, these acts should come from a place of love. They are not meant to impress Him or gain His approval. They are the natural response of a heart transformed by His mercy.
We Cannot Earn God’s Grace
God’s grace is not something we can work for or deserve. We could never be good enough on our own to earn His presence. His love is freely given, not based on anything we have done but entirely on who He is.
We Follow Jesus Because We Are Already Saved
We seek to know Jesus not as a means of salvation, but because we are already saved by His grace. We serve, sacrifice, and pursue Him out of gratitude and joy. Our passion for Him grows because He has already made us worthy through His love.
