Our guilt, our wrongs, the past are all dead now. They are gone because Jesus took them on Himself and removed them forever with His death and resurrection. That is what it means to be crucified with Him. And we are resurrected as well!
We are given a brand new life, a life where the Spirit of Jesus lives in us.

No, it has been crucified and replaced with a new life. - Do we stumble in shame?
No, we have already been forgiven because of what Jesus has done. - Does our past control or define us?
No, the old is gone and we have been resurrected into a transformed present and future.
All of this, because of the love of Jesus the Son of God. We are forgiven, completely changed, and our future is full of hope. Jesus is faithful!
