How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! – Psalm 133:1
Have you ever paused to think about what truly brings joy to the heart of God? The answer may be simpler than we realize. It’s the unity and love shared among His people—a reflection of His own character at work within us.
As followers of Jesus, we share something remarkable. His love and grace have reached into every corner of our lives, drawing us together as one family in Christ. No matter who we are or where we’ve come from, the cross levels the ground beneath our feet.
United by Grace
We all came to Jesus the same way—broken, needy, and humbled by His mercy. Whether rich or poor, learned or uneducated, every one of us stood before Him as sinners in need of salvation. Through His compassion, we were restored, forgiven, and made new.
This shared beginning is something we should never forget. It reminds us that no one is greater or lesser in God’s eyes. He loves each of us deeply, and through His grace, we have all become His children.
Thankful Together
Gratitude is a beautiful bond between believers. When we gather to worship or pray, our hearts rise together in thanksgiving for what God has done. Our individual stories of redemption blend into a song of praise that glorifies the One who made us one.
In every season, we can find unity through thankfulness. When we lift our voices together, barriers fall away, and joy takes their place.
Living Out Our Unity
Jesus said that the world would recognize His followers by their love for one another. That love is meant to be visible, active, and sincere. When we encourage, forgive, and serve one another, we reveal the heart of Christ.
Being together as believers is indeed good and pleasant because we share the same Savior, the same Father, and the same Spirit. We have received the same forgiveness and belong to the same heavenly family.
Let’s choose to live that way—with grace, love, and unity that reflect the glory of our Lord.
