Defining True Wisdom
True wisdom is not just about knowing facts—it’s about understanding what truly matters. Wisdom begins with recognizing that all understanding originates from God. If you want to learn about something, it makes sense to listen to the one who created it. God is the source of all knowledge, understanding every detail of creation—how it functions, how it’s formed, and how everything is interconnected.
The Source of Understanding Is God
Beyond knowing the mechanics of creation, God knows the purpose behind it all. Everything was made with intention and meaning. While He hasn’t revealed every detail of His plan, He has made one thing perfectly clear: He loves us. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins and raised Him from the dead so that we could be forgiven and free. This revealed love is the most important truth we can ever know.
Wisdom Comes Through Knowing God
When we believe in Jesus and accept God’s love, He begins to give us wisdom. We start to discern what really matters in life. Skills, talents, education, and intelligence are all valuable, but real wisdom is something deeper. It flows from a relationship with the One who created knowledge itself.
God’s Love Brings Lasting Wisdom
Real wisdom comes from knowing the Creator. It comes from listening to the voice of the One who designed the universe and holds it together. Wisdom is not only about facts or intellect—it is rooted in love. When we receive the love of our heavenly Father, we begin to understand life’s true meaning. Love brings wisdom, and wisdom begins with knowing and trusting God.
