Instead he finds pleasure in obeying the Lord’s commands; he meditates on his commands day and night. He is like a tree planted by flowing streams; it yields its fruit at the proper time, and its leaves never fall off. He succeeds in everything he attempts. – Psalm 1:2-3

What makes you feel truly alive? The answer is found in a relationship with God, who gives us joy, purpose, and life that never runs dry.

Finding Joy in Serving God

God desires for us to experience happiness in serving Him. He invites us into a relationship where we not only walk with Him but also delight in His presence, just as He delights in us. The work He calls us to do is never without His grace, and it is His grace that fills our lives with both humility and joy.

A Picture of Life in the Desert

Imagine what it would mean to hear about flowing water while living in a desert. Trees cannot survive there, and growth is impossible without water. To those in dry places, even the smallest stream would be life-changing. God’s Word often uses this image to show us the beauty of His presence in our lives.

From Dry Wasteland to Living Stream

Without Jesus, our lives are like a barren desert. But when Christ enters in, He brings living water in abundance—not a shallow well or a temporary pool, but a flowing, endless stream. With Him, we are renewed, refreshed, and made fruitful. He brings life where once there was only dryness and despair.

Becoming Who God Created Us to Be

When we are connected to the One who created us, we become who we were always meant to be. God’s promise is that life with Him brings growth, strength, and blessing. What was once withering is now flourishing. By His Spirit, God flows around us like cool water, reviving us and making us fully alive in Him.
