For God has not called us to impurity, but to holiness. – 1 Thessalonians 4:7
Are we truly thankful for God’s grace? Do we live with gratitude for His forgiveness and feel the weight of His incredible love?
God has chosen us, set us apart, and poured out His blessings so that we may experience the joy of being His children. These are the reasons we praise Him, trust Him, and serve Him with our lives.
God’s Love in Our Weakness
Even as God’s children, we still stumble. We still make mistakes, wrong choices, and at times find ourselves overwhelmed by our own failures. Yet because we are called to holiness, we no longer desire to remain in sin. Instead, we recognize God’s unwavering love, seek His presence even in shame, and keep moving forward in faith and devotion.
Growing in Holiness
God does not demand perfection from us. Rather, He patiently works in us, shaping us day by day to become more like Jesus. His Spirit is at work transforming our hearts, teaching us to walk in humility, and filling us with strength to overcome. Our journey is one of growth, not instant arrival, and through it all God’s grace sustains us.
Freedom Through Christ
We are no longer slaves to sin. Through Christ, we have been set free from desires that once controlled us and from actions that left us in regret. God’s love has rescued us, given us freedom, and called us to live a life set apart for Him. It is a miracle of grace that He has made us holy, and it is in that holiness we find joy, peace, and purpose.
